After 26 years LOT flies direct from Warsaw to Bangkok again

On Wednesday the first direct LOT flight to Bangkok left Chopin Airport. The route is year-round, operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliners to Suvarnabhumi Airport, about 30 km from central Bangkok.

In winter the flight there will take 10 hours 20 minutes, and back 11 hours 55 minutes.

LOT flew to Bangkok from 1977, at first with stopovers in Dubai and Bombay, then without them. The scheduled flight was cancelled in March 2000.
