Statistics Poland (GUS) revised its GDP estimate: in Q2 2026 the economy grew 4.1% year on year instead of the previous 3.9%. The Q1 growth estimate was raised to 3.7% from 3.5%.
The revision reflects changes in public consumption and gross fixed capital formation. Finance Minister Andrzej Domański wrote: 'Poland's economy is growing even faster', noting that investment was stronger.
On Tuesday the IMF kept its 2026 forecast for Polish GDP growth at 3.4% and raised its 2027 forecast by 0.1 pp to 2.5%. It forecasts average inflation of 3.2% in 2026.
