In September the median rent for a flat in Warsaw stayed at the August level, 4,300 zloty. A year ago it was 4% higher, the portal GetHome.pl calculated using Adradar data.

Supply has grown for the fifth month in a row: in Warsaw there are 16,900 flats on the market, 10% more than in August and 6% more than a year ago. Nationwide there are 88,500 listings, the most since August 2021.

For comparison, the median in Kraków is 3,100 zloty, in Gdańsk 3,000, in Wrocław 2,900 (the only rise over the month), in Poznań 2,500, in Łódź and Katowice 2,000.

GetHome.pl expert Marek Wielgo explains: students have returned to the cities, but there were so many new listings that landlords had no arguments for raising prices.
