On Friday morning bus stops and metro stations in Warsaw were almost empty. According to Polsat News, many parents did not send their children to school because of rumours about a “bloody Friday” after the attacks at schools in Ostrołęka and near Wyszków.

According to the newsroom, 45 schools in the Masovian Voivodeship cancelled classes on Friday. In the Wyszków gmina all public and private primary schools and kindergartens are closed. In Konstancin-Jeziorna classes at gmina primary schools are suspended. Warsaw City Hall reported preventive measures at educational institutions. Police said they are aware of the rumours and urge people not to give in to panic.
