Shop prices rose 1.9% in September, sweets rising fastest

According to the “Shop price index” study (UCE Research and WSB Merito University), prices in 17 categories of the products most often bought rose 1.9% in September.

Sweets and desserts rose the most: on average 6.7% more than a year earlier.

For comparison: the increase was 1.7% in August, 1.9% in July and 2.7% in June.
