Away fans' section at Legia closed until end of 2026; first match without fans on Sunday

The Club Licensing Commission imposed a fine on Legia: 250,000 zloty for each home match without fans of the visiting team. The away section at Łazienkowska is closed until the end of 2026 because of stadium modernisation. The work began in the autumn part of the season.

The first match under the restrictions will be the game against Wisła Kraków on Sunday, 11 October, at 20:15. Club president Marcin Herra said that Legia acts under the procedures for mass events and that “the competent authorities reviewed the case and issued the relevant decisions”. The club has already removed the nets that separated the away section from the south stand and is preparing to open a new fan service point.

Herra also admitted that the next few matches at Łazienkowska may be without fans of the visiting teams.
