Poland has a national population evacuation plan for the case of war, military threat or natural disaster. The Minister of the Interior and Administration approved it on 3 July 2026. The document is based on plans prepared by voivodes.

The plan was drawn up by the director of the Government Security Centre (RCB) together with the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces. The system is to ensure relocation of people from threatened areas to safer places, including across voivodeship borders. The plans specify the number of people, transport, infrastructure and accommodation sites.

The Ministry of the Interior confirmed this in an official reply to a parliamentary question. It does not mean that all residents of the country will leave their homes at the same time.
