Hubert Hurkacz beats Novak Djokovic for the first time, 6-4, 6-3 in Shanghai

In the second round of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Shanghai, Hubert Hurkacz beat Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-3. Before this Hurkacz had lost to the Serb eight times.

It was the 15th match of Polish tennis players against Djokovic and the first win.

Both arrived in Shanghai from Beijing, where Hurkacz withdrew from the semi-final with a leg muscle strain. The Pole's next opponent is Italy's Lorenzo Musetti or China's Zhou Yi.
