Heating voucher for 2026: up to 3,500 zloty, only for district heating

The heating voucher for 2026 is a one-off payment of up to 3,500 zloty. The amount depends on household income, the heating method and the price of the supplied heat.

Entitlement applies to households that use district heating from a power company and fall within the heat price threshold. The voucher does not apply to those who heat their flat with a gas boiler, a heat pump, pellets or coal, even with high bills. Living in an apartment building does not in itself give entitlement.

For a four-person family the income threshold is 9,818.08 zloty a month. Exceeding it does not cancel the payment entirely: the amount is reduced by the size of the excess. If the voucher is below 20 zloty after calculation, it is not granted.
