From 12 to 18 October, officers of the Masovian SPEED group (grupa SPEED) checked 871 drivers, including 7 motorcyclists, and recorded 860 offences, 721 of them speeding. They issued 756 fines, 662 of them for driving too fast.

They seized 23 driving licences, including 10 for exceeding the speed limit by more than 50 km/h, and 24 registration certificates, 10 of them because of the technical condition of the vehicles. Five drivers were drunk, three were behind the wheel in defiance of a court ban already in force, and one despite having had their licence revoked.

The highest speed, 145 km/h, was recorded by a police dashcam on Wednesday morning, 14 October, on voivodeship road No. 627 in Sulęcin Kolonia: a 21-year-old driver from Ostrołęka county was fined 1,500 zł, given 13 penalty points and banned from driving for 3 months.
