On Friday wind gusts in Mazovia may reach 70 km/h

IMGW forecasts moderate to fairly strong westerly wind on Friday. Gusts in north-eastern Mazovia may reach about 70 km/h, and brief rain is possible. In Warsaw the maximum temperature is around +13°.

The Government Security Centre (RCB) reports that no SMS alert about strong wind has been issued for Mazovia, although IMGW level-one and level-two warnings are in force in some voivodeships. On the coast, gusts may reach 105 km/h.

It is recommended to remove pots, light furniture and decor from balconies and terraces, and to be careful near trees: weak branches may break. On Saturday the wind in the region will be mostly moderate but gusty; in Warsaw up to +16°.
