Son of basketball player Małgorzata Dydek, 18-year-old David Twigg, wants to play for Poland

The son of basketball player Małgorzata Dydek, 18-year-old David Twigg Jr., grew up in Australia and recently moved to Poland. He told the PAP agency: “My dream is to play in the Poland national team's main squad.”

Twigg plays for Energa Trefl Sopot, mostly for the second team. The player is 214 cm tall, one of the tallest in the PGE Basket Liga.

Dydek, who led the national team to gold at the 1999 European Championship, died in 2011 at the age of 37. According to the text, there are no formal obstacles to Twigg playing for the national team. Coach Igor Milicić will decide if the level of play allows it.
