Wilanów resident described methods of killing to an AI: French services passed the alert to police

Police officers from Wilanów went at night to see a 47-year-old man after an alert that French services passed to the Polish side. In conversations with artificial intelligence he described ways of maiming and killing people with knives, acid and poison. The system judged this as possible real intentions, the report went to France, and from there to Poland. Police do not disclose which AI service it was.

Officers arrived at the address on Wednesday, 7 October, after 3 a.m. The man and a sleeping child were at home. The 47-year-old confirmed that he had used AI, discussed various subjects and built various theories, but, in his words, did not intend to carry anything out and considered the plans unrealistic.

Officers called an ambulance. After an examination the man was taken to hospital for a consultation, and the doctor decided to admit him to a ward for observation.
