On Saturday, 10 October, at about 12:30, in the building of an adult school on Mińska Street in Praga-Południe, a 21-year-old student of the school attacked three people with a knife: two 17-year-old girls and a 24-year-old woman. The attack took place in a room by the secretariat. Police arrived four minutes after the call.
According to Warsaw police spokesman Jacek Wiśniewski, one of the 17-year-olds was taken to hospital with forearm cuts; her life is not in danger. The other two victims were not sent to hospital. The attacker was disarmed and detained by an employee of the school. Police are questioning the suspect. The motive is not yet known, and there is no confirmation that those involved knew each other.
According to police, the attack could not be linked to the “challenge” of school attacks discussed on social media. The check continues.
