Police are looking for a man who walked around Podzamcze and the Bulwary Wiślane with a hatchet

Police are looking for a man who on Tuesday afternoon, 20 October, walked around the area of Podzamcze, the Wisłostrada and the Bulwary Wiślane waving an object resembling a small axe. According to witnesses, he appeared to be drunk and was moving close to spots popular with strollers and tourists.

The incident was reported by the influencer Deynn, who was there with her husband Daniel Majewski: she said the man strode purposefully towards a woman standing nearby. The couple called the police.

It is not yet known whether he intended to attack anyone; there are no confirmed reports of injuries, and what exactly he was holding has not been officially established. According to preliminary information, the police search is under way.
