Prime Minister Donald Tusk has extended the current alert levels until November 30, 2026, until 23:59. Heightened checks, stronger protection of public transport and a ban on entering schools for outsiders also apply in Warsaw and in Mazovia.
Nationwide, the BRAVO and BRAVO-CRP levels remain in force (the latter covers cyberspace). On certain railway facilities run by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe and PKP Linia Hutnicza Szerokotorowa, a higher CHARLIE level applies. The decisions were signed on August 25 and have been in force since September 1.
Alert levels are introduced or changed by the prime minister in agreement with the interior minister and the head of ABW. The level defines duties for services, staff and facility protection, and its application may differ by territory. The law of June 10, 2016 provides for four levels: ALFA, BRAVO, CHARLIE and DELTA.
