Near Wyszków a 15-year-old former pupil attacks a school: school cleaner killed

In Leszczydół-Nowiny (Masovian Voivodeship, near Wyszków) a 15-year-old former pupil came to the school during lessons and attacked a 37-year-old cleaner. The head heard screams and, with a teacher, tried to subdue him; both were wounded and their lives are not in danger. The woman could not be saved; she leaves two children.

The teenager was detained by police. As Masovian Voivodeship police reported, none of the pupils was hurt. The motives are unknown. Cybercrime police are checking whether the attacks in Leszczydół-Nowiny, Sierpc and Ostrołęka are connected and whether a dangerous “challenge” has appeared online.

Other schools in the powiat were closed to outsiders as a precaution. By law the 15-year-old will be questioned in the presence of at least one parent.
