Large shops are closed on 11 October. The next trading Sunday is 6 December

There are no trading Sundays in October and November, so on 11 October supermarkets, discounters and shops in shopping centres are closed. Only outlets exempt from the ban will open.

You can stock up before the weekend until Saturday, 10 October; the next normal day is Monday the 12th. The next Sunday when all shops are open is 6 December.

The basis is the 2018 law restricting Sunday trading. In 2026 there are eight trading Sundays; before the autumn pause the last was 30 August, so the break will last 14 weeks.
